Manchester United have been in a period they’ve been practically looking for ways to get out of. The 2-0 win against Bunley at Turf Moor was just the right antidote for the club as a whole. There have been reports that Jose Mourinho’s job is on the line if he loses the game, after straight loss to Brighton and Tottenham.
The game avail Mourinho the opportunity to show everyone that his team still got what it takes to turn a bad period around.
It was the man that have been criticised for missing too many chances that came to the party on the day. Romelu Lukaku had the opportunity of redeeming his name with the two goals in the match. He opened the scoring in the 27th minute of the game and added a second a minute before the half time break.

The second goal in the match marks Lukaku 20th premier league goal for United and his 104th in the league in total, same as his idol, Didier Drogba. This help breed confidence in the game going into the break. Every player came to the party in the first half and ensure they do what needed to be done.
United saw more chances in the second half, especially from Jesse Lingard by the couldn’t convert them. The introduction of Rashford for Sanchez almost changed the outcome of the game after the England star head-butted Burnley defender, Bardsley which got him sent off. This did not however affect the outcome of the match.
